Fiber Optic line two-way?

 Naive question :  

 

I recently installed two Sonore Optic Modules and 15” of fiber between my Silent Win 7 PC (ROON Core) and my router.  
 

Now ROON will no longer play music to my SONOS Play 5.  It shows it is playing but nothing is coming out.

 

If I use the SONOS app, music plays fine.

 

It seems the fiber has broken something???

 

I just realized the ROON core with fiber works perfectly well in my two channel system so the fiber should not be the reason it won’t send music to my SONOS Play 5.

 

I guess the better question is:

 

Is there any reason installing fiber would impact my ROON Core from playing music to my Play 5 or do I have a ROON/SONOS issue only?
