Popular Post The Computer Audiophile
Nearly everything in life now has extremes. Whether it’s audio gear, a range for the kitchen, or tile for the bathroom. I’ve looked at all three in the last year and been surprised. While I can’t spend that much money to purchase stuff at the extreme high end, I love having the choice and love that some designers have gone all out. On the other end, I’m not sure if we’ve ever had better quality for less money. Speakers from Elac America, components from Schiit Audio, and access to tens of millions of audio tracks for $14.99 per month. I may long for the memories of getting my first HiFi system in the 90s, but I don’t long for the products and prices. panhead, Teresa, joelha and 3 others 4 1 1 Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

I wasn’t alive way back in the day, but could you really get bass flat to 30 Hz for a hundred bucks? Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

Inflation was only bad during the Carter administration since then. For $600 today you get midrange and treble, and if you want bass flat to 30 hertz you need to see your accountant. You could get a reasonably priced pair of Elac speakers and a sub today. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

Nobody has pitched anything. mav52 and daverich4 1 1 Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
