Analogue Interconnects

Right you are. But, of course, the importance of shielding is situational. I'm using a pair of of these interconnects, without the interconnects running next to any power cords, and with digital and analog equipment running to different circuits without any noise issues. Under different conditions, they might be pretty noisy.
