gychang
my first post here, I enjoy flac files output to my Pioneer HT receiver into my homebuilt DIY speaker. I use Turtlebeach microadvantage USB card using optical cable to my Pioneer. Since other components are "permanent" can I expect a sound improvement by upgrading my TB USB card? thanks, gychang Link to comment
crion
Providing your usb turtle provides bitperfect output (verify by playing a dts stream in your music player) I don't see a significant quality upgrade for you except upgrading speakers or going pre/pro with a separate amp. gychang
how can I play DTS thru my USB? gychang Link to comment
crion
Start your regular music player software (Foobar2000, Mediaplayer, Winamp etc) Download a DTS music/radio clip. http://www.sr.se/multikanal Play the file in your music player and watch your DTS indicator lit up or if the speakers produce unbearable noise (not bitperfect output).
