ALLO USBridge not compatible with Ayre DACs

I bought the USBridge to stream files to my Ayre Codex. I have Roon, so I want to use this as a Roon endpoint. I'm using Ropieee for that. I've been unable to get Ropieee to reliably and cleanly connect to either my Ayre Codex or my Ayre QB-B. Initially I got error messages about Roon losing control. After an update to the Ropieee, I was getting a reliable connection with lots of clicks and pops, like I'm listening to an LP. I don't have any of these problems using my Mojo. I also don't get these problems streaming from my Mac Mini to these DACs. I tried both wired and Wifi networks with the same result. 

 

I also haven't gotten a high res connection using Moode, so I think this is just a problem between the USBridge and the Ayre DACs.

I think it's time to try another streamer.
