I like to hear all points of view, and especially personal experiences, just don't beat a dead horse or berate others who disagree. IMO< it's not content that needs controlling, it's attitude and tone. I agree with you. I too like to read all sides and I have never put anyone on my ignore list. I identify as a thrifty subjectivist, but I'm really closer to an audio nihilist as I don't believe anything I've not heard with my own ear / brain system. There are tons of audio related stuff that I have no interest in because their description sounds too wacky to me, or I don't believe it will benefit the sound of my system, or is too expensive. But I never tell anyone I don't believe them as I would consider that rude. I can't speak for anyone else, however I have always accepted that other people may be able to hear something I cannot. 😊 This is why I need to audition whatever I'm interested in purchasing in my system and I buy only with a satisfaction money-back guarantee. So I take personal experiences, reviews, ad copy and even published specifications with great skepticism. Just because someone else loves something it doesn’t follow that I will too, I might, I might not, or whatever it is may not make any difference I can hear. I believe each person should listen for themselves because they are the ones who listen to their music though whatever they are considering purchasing. However, I do love reading about music and audio. I hope the new Objective-Fi forum makes AS more enjoyable. I will of course be visiting as I enjoy reading all sides. 😊 darkmass, audiobomber, WAM and 6 others 3 6 I have dementia. I save all my posts in a text file I call Forums. I do a search in that file to find out what I said or did in the past. I still love music. Teresa Link to comment

If the OP believes that USB cables or network switches can make a difference and wants to talk about that, and specifically requests that nonbelievers sit this one out, why can't this be respected? I’m a subjectivist and I have no trouble not commenting in threads about things I don’t believe in, many of those threads I don’t even visit. 4 hours ago, Samuel T Cogley said: Sure, OK. But I don't think your recent actions will be seen as rolling out the red carpet for them. This is a win for MQA Chris. I know it seems like I'm trolling but based on the history of MQA here, a strong case could be made that you've handed a huge win to MQA by raising up the "subjectivists" above everyone else. You mark my works, Quint and his ilk we be back in spades, reveling in their "win". I thought most subjectivists also disliked MQA and are fearful of future music being contaminated by MQA. I don't believe this is an objectivist only position. That being the case how can it be a win for MQA. 4est, audiobomber, PeterG and 5 others 5 2 1 I have dementia.
