Bluetooth speakers with some style...

Recommended Posts

At one point CC did an article on either CES or a home show that featured a fairly well known brand bringing to market a highly configurable wall mounted speaker system in various geometric shapes, sizes, and colors that could be built into a highly pleasing pattern.  I've tried a few times to search here and online with no luck.  I remember thinking at the time this would be perfect for a newborn's room.  ;)

Anyone have memory of this?

I think I know what you're talking about, although I am unsure if it ever came to market.

Men know what they want, women know what they don't want.. :)

They’re a different “species” all right!  God must have a twisted sense of humor. He created the perfect companion for a man. Beautiful, sexually alluring, with the equipment to fill all a man’s needs. Then he gave them the female personality: all emotion, no logic, a totally different sense of humor from men, no interest in most things men are interested in, and interested in things that guys could care less about (curtains?). Perverse! It’s why I’m a lifelong bachelor.☺️

Who brainwashed you into believing that the above is not true even though the proof is all around you?

No one, I have been lucky enough to have wonderful and amazing women in my life...

If I wanted someone just like me, I'd find a gay guy to marry...

Good for you, but that doesn’t make my generalization of the female of the species any less true. As a misogynist, and a misogamist I tend to see the worst in women, who, while physically very attractive to me (especially young ones, 18-30), are not what I have ever wanted in my life on any but a temporary basis. Now, let’s waste no more time on this subject.

And wrong to boot. I don’t like Mr. Trump - personally (from what I know of him), but I don’t think he’s a bad President. He’s done some really good things while in office. I didn’t vote for him in 2016 (nor did I vote for Ms Clinton) and I won’t vote for him this year either nor will I vote for whomever the Damnocrats end up putting against him!

Is this just for a specific room in the house, and portable isn't an issue?

Sonos the new Move for indoor/outdoor has BT. All their gear is Airplay & WiFi  and sounds decent.

And the ultimate party mate  Ultimate Ears MegaBoom

However, if retro is your deal, why fake it. Get a real retro device and plug one of these in https://www.focal.com/en/home-audio/multimedia-and-wireless/wireless-solution/universal-wireless-receiver-aptx (worked awesome in my 2009 Infiniti)

I think sometimes it's difficult to tell which process is more valid (takes place) - the process of shaping our minds by our reality or the opposite one.. :)

Seems that finally I have a good reason for stopping posting photos of stupid speakers on this thread..

@AudioDoctor , I apologize for a little bit of trolling 9_9
