Don't you guys think that Americans tend to abuse firearms.?  9_9

The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music.

                                                                          ―  William Shakespeare.

Statins

that may explain Noise Fetishes and Cable Crazes

"The overwhelming majority [of audiophiles] have very little knowledge, if any, about the most basic principles and operating characteristics of audio equipment. They often base their purchasing decisions on hearsay, and the preaching of media sages. Unfortunately, because of commercial considerations, much information is rooted in increasing revenue, not in assisting the audiophile. It seems as if the only requirements for becoming an "authority" in the world of audio is a keyboard."

This is too good.

“The defendant said he was upset with his multi-disc CD player because it would not work. He brought it outside and shot it with his shotgun 2 or 3 times. He said he then beat the player against his truck 10 to 15 times.”

The link between statins and loss of impulse control is about as well established as Roseann Barr's claim that ambien prompted her racist tweets.

Apparently you've never taken ambien.

I think the more likely candidates are cheap beer and idiocy.

You forgot cheap ammo even though ammo inflation has been pretty severe the last few years.

If it was ‘statins’ then maybe his high triglycerides caused that type of reaction in that case he needs gemfibrazole

And why is he a defendant? Firing his weapon inside city/town/village limits?- must confess didn’t bother to open Chris’s link just enjoyed everyone else’s comments

he is a defendant because snowflakes were harmed in the justified CD player shooting

With the number of CD transport failures I have experienced, I wish I had a shotgun.
