Thanks.  It really is no big deal rescuing big dogs, except for the fact that the larger breeds generally don't live too long.  You just have to make the best of it, and be ready for that punch in the gut in 4 or 5 years.

 A lot of these speakers remind me of when Hasselblad lost the plot a few years ago and tried to pawn off a $1k Sony camera for $5k by adding some hard wood and bling to it. Boy, did they get flamed....

@The Computer Audiophile Chris, I can't stand the fact that your new speakers have been the object of jokes on this thread. IMO you deserve good looking speakers and I think many here will not only agree but would also be willing to pitch in to get you some decent looking transducers. As for your Wilsons - I think you don't have to worry - you can always donate them to some poor kid who only knows the sound of his cell phone speaker.. 

Hereby I kindly ask everyone who is ready to pitch in to upvote this post as a sign of his willingness to take part in this project.
