That is what Denafrips do with the Terminator Plus and the Denafrips DDC's.  Unfortunately, the only DAC in the Denafrips lineup that can do this is the Terminator Plus.

@YALAWhy would you put a cheap $40 generic Ebay DDC in your audio chain, when you spent so much money on a nice DAC like the May?

Some interesting comparisons down the road once Spring 3 ships, would be Spring 3 KTE compared to Holo May L1/2/3.   

 

Power supplies make a big difference so my guestimate is, May Level 2/3 would reveal a distinct and very noticeable improvement, but Spring 3 KTE could be pretty close with May Level 1 since Spring 3 KTE has the Titanis 2.0 USB module, and May Level 1 doesn't have it.  

 

Also, Spring 3 KTE w/preamp module vs Spring 3 KTE + Serene would be very interesting.

 

Perhaps something @GoldenOne can do later this year?

I think he is most likely talking about the Titanis 2.0 usb module that is used in the May Level 2 and May KTE, and the new Spring 3 KTE.
