Hi everyone
I have a Rega Brio amp and technics 1210 turntable. I need to buy speakers and have a budget of £1000 max but really want to spend less if I can. I don’t mind buying second hand.
the size of my room is 10m x 5m ( 32feet x 16feet) I understand This is a big room but don’t want to blow the house down with anything too bassy because of that. I am not great at this stuff but I love my vinyl so any advice would be amazing. floor standing, shelf Speakers and everything in between I am willing to look at. Thanks so much everyone.

any Spendors in your price range?

there are lots of high quality English bookshelf speakers

"The overwhelming majority [of audiophiles] have very little knowledge, if any, about the most basic principles and operating characteristics of audio equipment. They often base their purchasing decisions on hearsay, and the preaching of media sages. Unfortunately, because of commercial considerations, much information is rooted in increasing revenue, not in assisting the audiophile. It seems as if the only requirements for becoming an "authority" in the world of audio is a keyboard."
