Cool.  My SE is getting a wee bit sluggish, and it only holds a charge for 5 or 6 minutes.

My SE is as fast as always--and keeps a charge for days (although I use it seldom, I prefer a full sized computer for computing tasks).

New batteries are cheap.

It's a shame that more people don't realize that you can get a new battery in an iPhone for $49 or $69 from Apple, depending on the model. If you've had a phone for a few years, and you're complaining about the charge, then it's a no-brainer to have Apple do it at that price. (You can also get third-party repair people to do it, but I wouldn't trust them.)

When I had issues with an iPhone SE battery a couple of years ago, they replaced the phone, sending a refurbished model. I think that's what they often do.

Or a kit online for $15. It took me less than 10 minutes.

That really depends on the model. If you're comfortable with that sort of thing, that's fine, but I never recommend that anyone do that themselves; all it takes is one mistake to mess up the phone.
