"AXPONA has been rescheduled from April 17-19 to August 7-9, 2020 out of concern for the health and safety of all participants due to the growing coronavirus situation. This decision was made following an outpouring of feedback from the AXPONA community over the last 72 hours."

Not unexpected, what with everything else shutting down. I wasn't planning to attend this year for other reasons, but am even less likely to attend in August. I can understand why the financial markets are unhappy today.

Update: just received an email from AXPONA that says in part "...we do not believe it would be wise to hold AXPONA in April 2021.  We asked the Renaissance Schaumburg for later dates in the calendar year that could accommodate our entire event and we are pleased to announce our new dates will be August 27 – 29, 2021."

Since my last post AXPONA was rescheduled to October, but as of today it's again rescheduled to April 22-24, 2022. So if we're lucky it's back to the normal annual springtime schedule at the Renaissance Schaumburg. They've also booked the same location for April 14-16, 2023 and April 12-14, 2024.
