Any thoughts from the early posters on this thread on how best to configure the ET^2? Or perhaps how different configurations affect the sound?

 

My ET^2 arrived on Wednesday so I've only had it in my system for a couple of days. It sits in between my Etheregen (currently powered from a JS-2) and my Nimitra. From the Nimitra I use a Lush USB to a Lampizator Atlantic Plus DAC. There was an immediate, and to some extent unexpected, improvement in sound quality compared with the generic CAT 6A cable I had in this position before. I should probably say that I was, of course, expecting an improvement I just wasn't expecting it to be as much as it was. So far I'm using the default, delivery, configuration and still getting used to the sound but am interested to hear what others findings are before I start experimenting myself.

is there anyone who can say something about the configuration?

Something should have been found out by now.

Besides the Lush^3 and the HDMI^2, I also bought the ET^3.
Once for a LAN connection and once as an I2S cable for my CD drive.

Has anyone had any experience?
