New workstation sound

Just got a Dell Precision 3630 workstation for my office. First test, just plug in my AKG 450 headphones and listen to YouTube.

The test tracks were:

The Dead South  In hell I'll be in good company

Dr Dog Truth

Todd Snider Like a force of nature & mr bojangles

Linda Ronstat Rock me on the water

Black Oak Arkansas Lord have mercy on my soul

 

Good enough sound to be pleasantly surprised.

I do it all the time, often sat next to a computer so plug in my headphones and enjoy the music, can't have a big system in an office....

I got a Dell recently and I have to say their Maxx Audio software is very good for audio.

My dream system will fit in my office but I’m lucky to have room in mine for my Klipsch Heresy’s for fun or modified AR-4x to do studio work if I move the conference table around.

Its bad enough having to use open back headphones, the others get a bit tetchy sometimes, when I had my own office I had a mini system playing away...
