I own both, but I put a fork in mac awhile ago, got fed up with it. My experience thus far with ROON and the upgrades have been solid. Sounds like A+ is for you and that's great. AudioDoctor
Is anyone having issues with Roon Remote connecting? My Roon Server is on a Mac mini running MacOS Mojave, Roon 1.7 (latest build), and a beta of iOS 13.4 on my iPhone which I am running Roon remote on. No electron left behind. Link to comment

AudioDoctor
Anyone see what's supposed to be here, but isn't? That's right, the button to allow incoming connections... No electron left behind. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
Ok so, according to Roon, that button is only there on all in one installs... Not on the Core install which I am using on my mini. Meaning, I have a different problem and it may be related to the Beta of iOS 13 I am on, because not only can I not connect to the core on my iPad / iPhone but today I can't connect to my wifi either.
