Nothing! It's perfect! It still works with JRiver for managing playlists and syncing them to mobile devices! The goofy patch to the 1.6 now playing display disaster still works just like before! Artist photos show cutoff heads just like before! It still doesn't adapt to monitor resolution! It still does horizontal scrolling! It still doesn't show bit depth/sampling rate on the now playing display on Windows control clients! It still uses antiquated serif fonts on the artist/album displays! Everything is bold! Don't know about the Android app because it doesn't work any more, but I'm sure it's awesome! Overall an awesome release! Well worth the wait for all the awesome new features!

No, I was being facetious.  I still have to use JRiver to manage playlists and sync them to mobile devices. One of if not the only reasons I still keep JRiver around.  Was hoping the new roon release would have something anything to help with this.

 

This release looks like a rush job to appease users wondering what's going on. I'm wondering if it will do more harm than good.

I am not trying to be a smartass here, but there is a lot there and some pretty major changes and optimizations.

 

Yes, I read the link. Nothing much there for me. The tidal/qobuz streaming limits are mildly interesting, haven't played with that yet.
