Here’s a thought! How about designing a DAC streamer utilising the best parts of the etherREGEN and ISO REGEN? No fancy box, <$3000-$4000. dCS killer

@wwc Have you considered the ISO Regen+ LPS1.2 after the Mac Mini? I think this is a critical component to add before the USB DAC. Quite a few posters on this listening impressions thread will have already benefited from such an optimised approach.

@Johnnydev Once you ditch the Dialog, I reckon another ER will serve you better. B side for each of the Phantoms. Otherwise, your orginal setup is a good compromise.

That was JS’s quote from last year in the original post. I believe that is why @BigAlMc was surprised at his own findings.

For others without a spare LPS 1.2, I would hesitate recommending one for an extra $435 and follow the manufacturer’s recommendation.
