I have both.  I have the Allo USBridge Sig that has the Digi One board in it.  I will be testing them over the next weeks and I will try spdif when I get a better cable or two! Most of my testing is the USB side!

 

There is a lot of effort put into the Digione to make spdif sound great.  The spdif in the Primo is right off of the Tinkerboard.  The Primo has had a lot of effort put into the analog out.  One could make assumptions from that!
