Samsung TVs seem to have poor manf'ing reliability - e..g. a line of red or green that appears all the way down the screen (like mine)

 

I use an Apple TV box to 'catch' AirPlay delivered Redbook, but the only app is a remote on my phone.  That generation is available used or as a refurb.  Some receivers have the facility built in.

 

I suggest not relying on BestBuy employees for anything.
