i use gentooplayer ,adi2 fs,allo usbridge signature ,Play dsd256 perfectly over roonbridge and squeezelite!

Please install gentooplayer 2.13 for allo usbridge signature ,Please use 114 non-rt kernel！114 kernel in 2.13 has added the latest network card driver

I knew that the GP developer @antonellocaroli had inserted the asix V2.0 driver.

I tried but unfortunately the problem is still there ..

 

Which version of adi-2 do you have?

The new version with akm 4493?

Mine is the old one. 

 

I will try again with the version you recommended

I've used 4.14.114-010320,  Gentooplayer-ST (n° 20)

 

This finally resolve the problem😊😊😊

BTW try again to use GentooPlayer as we wrote above.

Gentooplayer has several network audio players already installed that you can enabled or disabled, including NAA, Roon Bridge, Squeezelite etc..

I am sorry to hear that this did not solve your problem 🙄

 

For me it was the only working combination with zero drops. 

 

I had the same little problem (some micro drops at dsd 256) with dietpi allo gui, both 4.14 and 4.19 kernel based versions with new asix driver.

I've tried XL. It works fine, but it didn't solve the dsd problem, for me

I am hearing also micro drops at Dsd 256 and using Hqplayer and Topping 90 in direct mode.
But noticed this after i have installed a power improvement done by Isotek Some kind of Dc filtering resp.clean power, This brings a lot of improvement but now I hear some clicks like the old vinyl tic.

 

Tried at Dsd 512 but didn’t hear these pops.

 

Will do some  testing with and without Isotek Power adapter and Dsd 256<=> 512. 
As soon as you hear something from Allo please pm.

blanks or dropouts are problems with ethernet driver (i think) but for clicks, you can change buffer settings in HQP (>100ms).

which version of HQ-player are you using? I switched in weekend to latest 4.4.1.  .....is the root cause maybe HQP?

Allo offers a version of Dietpi with the Asix ethernet driver in version V2 for Dietpi 6.26.

But if I update to 6.26 >> 6.29 or 6.30, the driver 2.0 goes back to 0.1.4 (?) (kernel 4.19.73)
 

I think, 6.26m1 is a local compiled version.. Please can you update to 6.30 ?
