JC88
Hi all, I'm a newbie here. Forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question, but couldn't find the answer to this on this forum or from any reply from Sonore. I have invested in a Chord DAC, the Qute HD (or EX). I want to place that on my network stream hi-res/cd-quality music. So I've read that the Sonore microrendu can be plugged into my router and then plugged into my DAC using the usb output. I wanted to make sure that the Sonore was compatible with the DAC before I bought it. Does any know if it would work or have successfully implemented this hookup? Thanks, Link to comment
1 Melvin
Yes, the Qute HD and EX works with the mRendu. I have the EX and was happy to see it supported. Check it out: Chord Device Support JC88 1 Link to comment
1 Melvin
Well, I longer use Qobuz (it's been a while) and I only used it UPnP/DNLA mode so I can't honestly give you a good answer. Seems like you're on the right track though. Link to comment
0 JC88
Thanks Melvin! Just one follow up question out of curiosity: Is my understanding correct that if I use Quobuz my options for streaming to the microrendu from my iPhone would be: 1. Stream directly from Quobuz (using AirPlay emulator) (Mode #2) 2. Stream from Quobuz via Roon (Mode #5) , Audiovarna (Mode #1) or LMS apps (Mode #1) 3. Stream directly from Quobuz (Mode #3a?) Thanks again! Link to comment
