allo.com
Yes Shanti can be used (and in fact it was designed) with USBridge Sig in mind Link to comment
allo.com
Hi Can you check if the voltage on the back of Shanti is 230V or 110 ? (if its correct for your region) Link to comment

I am currently powering the DigiOne with the supplied wall-wart for the dirty side and using the 1A Shanti output for the clean side. When I try to use the Shanti 3A output for the DigiOne dirty side, the RPi reboots over and over. I gather from others here that the Shanti should be able to power both sides of the DigiOne. How can I diagnose what is happening here? I am using RopieeeXL on the DigiOne. Thanks! Hi Shhquiet Can you place check that your Shanti also has the right voltage selected on the back of the box ? (230 in EU and 110 in US/Canada) Link to comment
allo.com
I have instructed the shipping dept to make sure that every shanti is sent with the correct voltage for the country (from tomorrow on) Link to comment
allo.com
The capacitors (elec) working temp was something that we took in consideration since beginning. In fact more caps are rated at 1000h 105C. Every 10C less doubles the life of caps Shanti at full load is around 45C inside ...so 1000 x 2x2 x2 x2 x2 = 32k H = 4 years However at no load Shanti is at 35C (dont remember the exact number) = 8 years Link to comment
Popular Post allo.com
Shanti electrolitics are rated at 2000H at 105C However I will not claim Shanti will last 16 years. My point is that we taught about long life since the start of Shanti design.. Cundis and Bernstein 2 Link to comment
allo.com
Our figure was made for "general lytic caps" Our caps are rated at 2000h at 105C...every 10C less doubles the life of caps Take the temp of your case , add another 5C (inside temp) and then do the math I do not think its a concern. allo.com
suzywong The 1000h at 105C is a rather normal number for lytics. My point was that : 1. We spoke about the life of Shanti internally and designed accordingly 2. Using a "normal" caps you should theoretically get 4-8 years We have used lytics at 2000h for 105C, It is wrong to look at life expectancy only from one component point of view . You have LDOs, Mosfets etc. Enjoy your Shanti . Superdad 1 Link to comment
allo.com
Yeap...we did 🙂 What load are you using ? Definitely an issue if you see square waves Link to comment
allo.com
It should not have those..whats the voltage level ? Link to comment
allo.com
Please send me a PM with your order number Link to comment
allo.com
5.2V is ok to use . In fact USB specs are 4.75 to 5.2V. As long as your Korg 100 , it needs only 500mA so yes you can use Link to comment
