Vadirtyr
I have my Katana set up and it shows up in Roon, but when I play music to it, no sound. This has been working perfectly for a couple of months, now nothing. Definitely power, everything lights up. Link to comment
Vadirtyr
OK, I guess there is sound, just super quiet. I had it up to the point that any other source would be heard a block away. Link to comment

kayaws
I have the same issue. My Katana had been working fine until a couple weeks ago. All looks normal from the UI, but no analog output. I've tried a couple different RCA cables and amps, but no luck. kayaws 1 Link to comment
Possum Jenkins
As a new owner of a Katana it would be nice to know what the fix for these problems are. Is there an issue with the Katana? Link to comment
bobspongieux
On my end, the microcontroller board passed away. I suspect some heating issue (40°C on the day it broke, and my Katana was powered on all day long for almost a year). I don't know which specific electronic part was involved. The Allo support team was very reactive and sent me a full unit back. Link to comment
Vadirtyr
Same here. They had me take a voltage readings on the board, then sent a new board. Pretty painless, and it's been working fine since then. Link to comment

jwy
Hello, sadly I have the same problem to report - Katana was working then stopped producing output one random day. Turning the amp volume control to maximum gives a very soft/distorted sound. Link to comment

bobspongieux
The issue has happened again on my side, think it comes from the main capacitor. Will try to change it one day. I'm a little discouraged. Link to comment
