Mharmony
Hi: Can I connect my Meridian Direct DAC to an Allo Spark USBridge by way of a USB a to b connector? Link to comment

I use a USB Regen for this. Otherwise the USBridge does have enough power for the Meridian. The DAC is made to be powered from a USB 2.0 connection, which is present on the USBridge. I don't doubt the Meridian sounds better with a cleaner power supply and re-clocking, but it does not need more power than the USB 2.0 standard 5V, 500mA, to operate within spec. I suggest you delete (ie edit out) your question here and put it where it belongs in the Allo Club support forum.... Allo isn't going to be reading it here. Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment

The USBridge has USB A female port and the Direct DAC has a USB B female port, so you need a USB 2.0 A male to B male cable. I can't see any compatibility issue.
