Dsd not working with Usbridge + smsl m8a 2nd XMOS ES9028Q2M

Hi. 

I cannot play dsd files from usbridge to smsl m8a 2nd XMOS ES9028Q2M . 

 

1) I tried dsd with volumio ( last version)  streaming from

a) foorbar 

b) audirvana

c) dlna inside volumio

 

2) I tried dsd with dietpi ( last version)  streaming from

a) foorbar 

b) logitech media server 

c) audirvana

d) hqplayer

 

I can play dsd files from my windows pc to the dac with all the above softwares/methods. 

But with Usbridge or the dac plays pcm or doesn't work both with direct dsd and dop. 

 

Could you please help? I would like to use audirvana in particular

did you tried with the updated USB audio driver ?  refer below link.

I have just tried it. volumio player shows that the songs are dsd. the dac shows the correct dsd number ( dsd64,128, 256) but  it plays only noise

DSD playing hardware volume setting should be 100% , check it in volumio GUI

 

or 

 

check through 

alsamixer -c 1

I have this same problem with my USBridge connected to SMSL SU-8. Here is what I did:

 

1. Soundcard is USB 1.1

2. LMS is setup with DSDplayer

3. USBridge is setup Soundcard :USB-DAC-1.1

 

When play a DSD track ALSA status shows "no setup"

 

I was previously using a Squeezebox touch and was able to play DSD files

I forgot to add that I am using a SMSL SU-8 DAC.

   Please select soundcard as :USB-DAC instead of USB-DAC-1.1  then check
