lucretius
Over damping has a good transient response in the bass, but suffers from a significant loss in sound pressure in the bass, according to Nelson Pass anyway; others disagree. Also, apparently, there are some speakers (high-efficiency?) that require an amplifier with a low damping factor to reproduce rich, full-bodied sound. mQa is dead! Link to comment
