There is a 96/24 download available from ProStudioMasters.com.   It purports to be the 2012 remaster.  However, based on comparison to the '12 download vs '16 download gif in the article above (e.g., from ~4'40 to the end in Red Rain -- almost looks like phase inversion?)  the ProStudioMasters appears to be the 2016 remaster.

Josh, perhaps you could inspect/confirm?

I'm attaching a picture of ProStudioMasters Red Rain waveform.

I checked the the supposed 2012 hi-res download from ProStudioMasters in Har-Bal, and it's actually the 2016 hi-res download. As far as I've seen, the 2012 hi-res download is only available in 24/48 as part of the 25th anniversary box.

I've seen PG 8 or so times, the first being the Lamb tour with Genesis back in Cleveland.  I think both his tours and his albums peaked at Melt, but that's like saying the Beatles peaked at Revolver.  :)  The remaining catalog is still a treasure.  I go back and forth between the 24/48 and the SACD rip (DSF).  I am interested to hear Josh's comments (or anyone else who has both).  I often use Tony's stick and the percussion at the last minute of Don't Give Up to set up one of my comparisons.  The dsf rip seems to have a blacker background, the 2448 a warmer tone.  Both are great IMHO, especially given that my Holo treats each format differently.

I compared the 2 don't give up on my Holo May and dubbed the SACD "BIMBO" (Best I My Bright Opinion ; alternative suggestions for the B welcome ; I also use the BIO acronym for best I Own) for the intro simply makes more sense spacially and timbrally, especially the clavinet ? has such a beautiful tone in the SACd version...

Looking around to see if I could find some of the versions mentioned here.

Saw references to a "UHD 24-88" version. Is this a legit version, or just some online creation by fans?

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)
