Rendu Support Thread

Actually the First Eero that is connected to your Modem is the Primary one, it is the one handing out the IP Addresses and is acting as the Router. The others create the Mesh Network. You should be connecting the Modem to the First Eero and from the First Eero to to a switch if you are using one. The other suggestion I have is to Reserve the IP address of each mRendu to ensure there are no IP address conflicts. I am using them in my house and I am pretty sure that when I had both my mRendu and ultraRendu on the Network both were visible in Roon. I unfortunately cannot confirm this as I have since sold the mRendu.

Hope you figure it out.

Good Luck,

Mike

Pretty sure you need to enter the IP address into a browser and then configure it to use Roon.

Your SE should appear under Network Devices, select manage and then select apps and then Audio app switcher and from there you should be able to enable Roon Ready. ie. Enable Roon Ready in app Manager and save. I am assuming it uses the Sonicorbiter interface, have never owned an SE.

Hope this helps.

So I had a power outage but got all powered up again but I cant get connectivity from my uptone LPS1.2 powered microRendu to my dac. Tried     cycling my pc,      dac, roon and nogo. Any ideas?

Make sure your Dac is powered up and the LPS-1.2 has a green LED before you power up the mRendu, in other words don’t connect the output of the 1.2 to the mR until it’s power led is solid green. Hope that helps.

Any comment regarding the above ?

I would run the update again, I remember when 2.8 became available executing the update twice seemed to clear up issues. When was the last time you ran an update?

Is the OpticalRendu up to date? I remember this was an issue when the 2.8 version of Sonicorbiter OS came out. You had to update the unit twice, after that it was ok. I was experiencing the same issue, it would just shut down.

I have the Power Supply that Barrows builds, you have the same one? Not the SGC one....

Hope this helps.....
