davide256
Are you able to change speeds using the typical chain pull, if so does that cause same symptom? Unlikely that switch is at fault, the fact that gear is on separate circuit but has problem sounds more like RFI caused interference from fan motor. Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
Popular Post davide256
Start by simplifying the chain, connect USB source directly to Yggy, see if problem goes away. If still present, try a different USB cable, the shortest you have. If either step works, you know the interference issue is up stream from the Yggy. Worry later about whether its RFI or a voltage spike somehow making it through your P-10, whats important now is to isolate at what point in your source to DAC solution the problem is introduced. esldude, crenca and semente 3 Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment

The USB input board—even the current one—of the Schiit is affected by signal integrity just as with most every other DAC. Those who disagree simply have not tried for themselves. It is quite easy to hear. mmm, I sold mine post Audio Linux... did wonders with earlier Roon endpoints but degraded sound with an AL/NUC based Roon endpoint. And I am using an Eitr which is the current USB input board for Schiit DAC's. AnotherSpin 1 Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
