Katana "Failed to open alsa device "hw:1.0"...

hello,

 

I've been using the Katana DAC with two 5V/3A power supplies, mostly streaming Tidal via Volumio.

 

every now and then I've been getting this message: Failed to open "alsa" [alsa]; failed to open alsa device "hw:1.0": no such file or directory.' 

 

I've managed to get it working until now, but this time no amount of reboots and restarts has solved the issue. I read on other forums it could be a dac power issue -- could the dac have become faulty?

Hi I have same issue, can somebody please help?

 

I do not think is power issue, while I use new Allo Shanti and if I downgrade to version of Volumio 2,619 everything works fine.

 

Can somebody explain?

 

Please help.
