Physical rotary control for volume using Allo Relay Attenuator

Hi

 

I am creating a streaming box using

 

Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Allo Boss Dac 1.2

Allo Relay Attenuator

Volumio

 

I realize I can use Volumio to control volume but I prefer physical controls for this project. 

 

I see how +/- buttons can be used to control volume via the relay attenuator -  but could I  use a  rotary volume control? Is that even possible with Volumio?
