Hi,

Just got a new Mini, replacing a 2011 version.

I'll be getting a streamer, have a NAS, now wondering what are the advantages of running the new Mac headless?

I use Audirvana, Roon, Amarra Luxe.

Thanks

you can turn off some internal processes related to video (if you are a bit-infestation believer)

"The overwhelming majority [of audiophiles] have very little knowledge, if any, about the most basic principles and operating characteristics of audio equipment. They often base their purchasing decisions on hearsay, and the preaching of media sages. Unfortunately, because of commercial considerations, much information is rooted in increasing revenue, not in assisting the audiophile. It seems as if the only requirements for becoming an "authority" in the world of audio is a keyboard."

Thanks.  Not certain I'll be able to hear the difference however.
