antonyb
Hi, I installed Windows Server 2019 GUI mode. To connect the PC to the NAS I had to use this procedure: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4046019/guest-access-in-smb2-disabled-by-default-in-windows-10-and-windows-ser In CORE mode the function is not enabled.Do you know if AO in CORE mode enables this function?Thank you. AudioPhil
Hello The article provided shows information about connecting to a Windows server, not from a windows server to a NAS. AO do not change anything in this regard. I think what you have to do is to enable SMB1 since your NAS may lack SMB2 support. ıllıllı [ ...AO 4.00 BETA... ] ıllıllı ____________________________________________________________________________________ Shop | Reviews | Reference System | AudiophileOptimizer 3.00 | PDF Guide Link to comment
antonyb
Yes, but the procedure worked, the NAS was found.I would like to buy AO 3.00 and use it with WS 2019 in CORE mode. I'm afraid it doesn't find the NAS.SMB1 from the NAS?Do you know if the Mytek stereo 192 works in CORE mode?Thank you. My audio system Link to comment
AudioPhil
Such things do not exist in Core mode, with or without AO. All you need to do is to simply connect the nas as a network drive using „net use“ command with persistent switch. If that does not work, enable SMB1 and try again. Yes the Stereo192 does work in core, but its driver isn‘t the best. You‘re mich better of putting a DDC in front of it, something like sotm dx usb HD or MUTEC MC3+USB. ıllıllı [ ...AO 4.00 BETA... ] ıllıllı ____________________________________________________________________________________ Shop | Reviews | Reference System | AudiophileOptimizer 3.00 | PDF Guide Link to comment

antonyb
That procedure only works in core mode. My audio system Link to comment
Cazzesman
Hi anthonyb, I beg to differ I used the procedure on mine in GUI WS2019 only last week. If you are using GUI you may find the WS2019 Network Discovery keeps auto turning off once you leave the screen. That will be half your problem. It was for me. Regards Cazzesman Link to comment
antonyb
I was wrong, I wanted to say that in core mode it doesn't work. Cazzesman 1 My audio system Link to comment
