It's going on at the hotel some of us are staying in! We are going to that show, now our second year. In 2017 we did the MOC once with Aries Cerat, but I don't like MOC's demo cabins: too dark, too small & noise bleeding in. The more spacious rooms in the long corridors are always sold out long in advance, so that's not an option either. The HifiDeluxe show is more cosy: real rooms with better acoustics instead of angled glass elements in many MOC rooms which are difficult to control, and there's a free shuttle bus between MOC and Hifi Deluxe. Also on Thursday, end-users are not allowed in the MOC, but you can visit the HifiDeluxe show! ps: I did send Chris a PM about this show, but did not yet get a reply. austinpop 1 Designer of the 432 EVO music server and Linux specialist Discoverer of the independent open source sox based mqa playback method with optional one cycle postringing. The last time I was there was a few years ago in June, when I experienced European Delivery at the BMW Welt, followed by a delightful driving tour with my family in our brand new car on the AlpenStraße and into Austria. From our room on the 5th floor of the Marriott we could see the alps. So I decided on the second show day to drive to it at 06:00 AM. Took me one hour from Marriott to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and then I drove all the way to Lermoos and over the Fernpaß, and on the way back I also took the exit towards both Austrian and German sides where the cabin goes up to the Zugspitze. I used to ski there off piste on that big rock, a long time ago. This was a very beautiful drive, with very nice curves and a challenge for owners of fast cars not to breakout with this kind of slippery surface On the same day I also drove to family in Landshut after the Munich show, and we were surprised by fireworks with ST:TNG background music. This was a great week for us, both the show, the side activities and the autobahn drive. Too bad we did not see Chris, but the Marriot show was really an eye opener for many: many thumbs up when they left our room. I swung by there for a couple of hours on Saturday, and found many of the rooms quite impressive. What brand/exhibitor do you represent? My favorites at the Marriott were the Alsyvox room and the Rohm room, mainly for the small but really impressive stand-mount MBL's. We were in room 550, which was a collaboration between the 2 Belgian brands "432 EVO" and "Conquistar". Additional electronics were Metrum & Vitus.
