Amazon High Definition Music Streaming Service

Recommended Posts

To my surprise, Tidal has no MQA version of this track "3.9_3-wo-ai-ni.0cc", just a redbook version - but for those who have seen the show, this sounds great in both redbook as on the Blu Ray version of season 3 - which is 24 bit 48 Khz:

One of my FB peers seems to be able to see the 24/192 version on Amazon:

Too bad Amazon does not publish an API

I guess we need Amazon Music Unlimited for the ultra hd, and not Amazon Prime Music?

The biggest difference between Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited is the number of available songs: Prime streaming offers about 2 million tracks, where Amazon Music Unlimited offers “tens of millions” of songs

Update: the service works, but how do I see what resolution I'm in? Not seeing ultra HD. Using the desktop app on windows 7. Also have W10 but prefer 7.

Using my amazon.de account, I can clearly see the Ultra HD page:

https://www.amazon.de/music/unlimited/hd

But when I click on the 90 days offer, on the next page I cannot switch my subscription to Ultra HD. So probably limited to Germany only?

Good luck! Oh and one of the links in your interesting signature requires a small update: digitalaudioreview.net is now darko.audio and apparently he's not paying to maintain and forward from the old domain.

THX for letting me know, google found it:
