Popular Post Musicophile
FYI, I just received an email from Qobuz that my existing Sublime (French) subscription will auto-renew at the same conditions. If I'm not mistaken, that means that the €219 per year deal of getting 16/44 streaming and discounted high-res downloads will continue for legacy subscribers like me. I'm happy this seems the case for now, otherwise I'd probably have upgraded to the € new price 299 per year Sublime+. But overall, for trying out music, I'm perfectly happy with redbook, and if I really like an album, I'm buying it anyhow in highres, and the Sublime discounts are just fantastic. For the €80 difference, I can probably buy at least 5-6 albums. So if you are in a similar situation like me, you're lucky. Let's see how long these things last. Overall, that's really my key worry about any kind of subscription business: you are fully at the mercy of their commercial conditions. They can raise prices any time, as witness by Netflix (which keeps increasingly slowly but steadily), or a photo software subscription I had called Capture One (which rather randomly doubled the subscription price some time ago), and you typically just have to swallow it. I still think streaming prices are too low right now to be sustainable and will eventually correct upwards, that's why I continue buying the albums I really care about. But let's enjoy it while it lasts. #Yoda#, Guidof, Jud and 1 other 1 3 Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment
Popular Post Musicophile
FYI My Sublime "legacy" subscription just renewed, for €199. I consider this an excellent deal, given that I still get all the fantastic sublime discounts, and will use the difference of €100 to the full Sublime+ for buying even more high-res albums. So a true win-win outcome. rando, Peter Hyatt and #Yoda# 3 Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment

Im curious as to what others are using to stream Qobuz... ? Audirvana on the main system, and the iOS apps while traveling.
