There's another one you might enjoy. It's called 'Heavy Weather' and it's by a band called Weather Report.

Sorry I'm being unkind! Congratulations on discovering 'Spectrum'. It's a great album.

I've always thought that one of the great fusion albums is 'Enigmatic Ocesn' by Jean-Luc Ponty:

It seems to have got expensive. Until recently Amazon were almost giving it away!

You know Herbie Hancock's 'Headhunters', don't you.?

the drummer on Headhunters is Harvey Mason, not Cobham.

Try Mahavishnu's "Inner Mounting Flame" and "Birds of Fire".

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three BXT

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)

Spectrum uses a super group of sorts. If you aren't familiar, you might want to check out some of the other members too.

I'm aware of that. Just tried to suggest another good fusion album.

Many people connecting Billy Cobham with Mahavishnu Orchestra. Other great drummer, Narada Michael Walden, played beautifully in Mahavishnu Orch. great album Apocalypse. Speaking about great jazz fusion drummers from that era, Tony Williams, Lenny White, Alphonse Mouzon should be mentioned too.
