What you used to have - as a child/teen/or any larval/pupal stage...

As a teenager my first home audio system was a Realistic brand 8-Track Stereo Tape Player/Amp with two bookshelf speakers Model 14-913, I bought at Radio Shack $89.95 plus tax.

I have dementia. I save all my posts in a text file I call Forums.  I do a search in that file to find out what I said or did in the past.

I still love music.

Got a couple of these somewhere in the closet.

I have a couple of these too.  It blew my mind how great this device was when I first got it.

Creek Evolution 100A / Schiit Gungnir Multibit / Squeezebox Touch with Teddy Pardo PSU / Marantz SA8005 / B&W CM8

In my very early years, we had one of these in the parental home.  It sounded a lot better if you gave the "loudness" button a prod:

Windows 11 PC, Roon, HQPlayer, Focus Fidelity convolutions, iFi Zen Stream, Paul Hynes SR4, Mutec REF10, Mutec MC3+USB, Devialet 1000Pro, KEF Blade.  Plus Pro-Ject Signature 12 TT for playing my 'legacy' vinyl collection. Desktop system; RME ADI-2 DAC fs, Meze Empyrean headphones.
