Need help finding a bluetooth DAC amp for B&W Px headphones

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I'm just getting into taking my music and listening experiences seriously cause I appreciate what tidal hifi masters has after using a buddy's beats studio 3 ( I know) sorry I'm new to this community and terminology may be wrong but stick with me , I plan on buying the Bowers PX headphones tomorrow and I'm confused which portiable amplifier should I get too enhance the sound quality . I will be using only tidal hifi  so if you guys have any tips or suggestions on another headphone similar to the one stated above it would be much appreciated. I will be using the note 9 as my main device.  Sorry if I didn't make sense

Thanks

The PX are a great sounding bluetooth headset for someone who needs to move around.  I own a pair.

If you want a desktop only headphone system there are copious amounts of better options.

Roon Rock->Auralic Aria G2->Schiit Yggdrasil A2->McIntosh C47->McIntosh MC301 Monos->Wilson Audio Sabrinas

Oh ok sorry! So I shouldn't get any amp with  those headphones?

You only need your Note 9. Call up Tidal and activate Bluetooth. You will hear your music once the headphones and phone pair.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)
