jrd1975
Since installing the 3.5 upgrade the WindowServer process on my Mac mini incrementally eats up RAM (circa 3gb and higher) in the end A+ crashes when memory pressure gets too much. This only occurs when A+ is running. Once I force quit of A+ the process releases all memory and is stable at less than 256mb. Can anyone help? Latest MAC OS and A+ build. Core I5 late 2014 with 8gb ram OS, application on SSD. Link to comment

Have you had any other customers reporting this possible memory leak issue? I notice if I play higher resolution files and generally browse in A+ the memory gets used up fast. If the memory usage was just A+ process it would be fine the issue is the WindowServer Mac process also uses much more memory than usual. Link to comment
jrd1975
Does anyone know if there is anyway to narrow down Qobuz searches in 3.5? For example if I search "Peter Gabriel" it returns 1000 albums! When you look at them, the top 30 or so are by that artist but then the rest of the results seem to just have some tenuous link. If I search for "Peter Gabriel" in Roon we get 23 albums..... I really hope this search funny and the memory issue can be resolved as 3.5 is so dang good! I really like using it on my office computer that is tethered directly to my DAC - to my ears sounds much better than running Roon this way (which I still love using for my network player...). jrd1975
Hi @damien78 Is it possible to add DSD selection options if using [RopieeeXL] to output to an UPnP network player? My device settings are below - I am using Mac Mini > A+ (latest) > RopieeeXL > Allo Digione > SPDIF > Chord Hugo 2 I believe to output DSD64 over SPDIF I need to be able to select DSD over DOP (like I can in Roon - see further below) Thanks in advance! Working signal path same setup in Roon Link to comment

It's an Allo DigiOne running RopieeeXL OS. As per my original post, no issues achieving DSD64 from Roon - just not in A+ I contacted the RopieeeXL OS developer who said that he would have expected the option to be configurable in the player. Maybe Damian can help at some point Link to comment

jrd1975
If I select my Hugo 2 direct USB I get the DSD options on A+ as per here These options do not appear when pointing at the endpoint. Link to comment

The setting is controlled through upsample tab. what is your settings for upsample tab. Can u sent us a picture of that please? Thanks and that's good to know that when you connect your microRendu you don't see those options. Will post up sample settings later today. Link to comment

I remember getting DSD 64 on the oppo with the previous version of Audirvana. With microRendu I can actually setup the DSD rate all the way up to 512 but I do not get any setting for DOP. That's really very kind of you to take the trouble to try that! Chapuea! Link to comment

Hi Jud I am not 100% sure this is the information your asking for as I'm a bit sketchy on the terminology.... But here goes Device Settings in A+ Upsampling settings in A+ General settings in RopieeeXL Advanced settings in RopieeeXL RopieeeXL settings in RopieeeXL And finally - working settings in Roon Link to comment

Do you get hissing and faint music in background? if yes, then DoP is the issue here since Audirvana may use a different DoP version. Will check tomorrow. Thanks. Link to comment

DoP v1.0 - works Convert to PCM - works Initial dCS method - does not work Link to comment
