AudioDoctor
I think the highest an Apple TV will go is 24/48. No electron left behind. Link to comment
wgscott
I'm not even sure about the 24 bit (vs. 16-bit). They give two output choices (16 bit or automatic), so maybe it does. Also, it will ONLY do 48kHz, so everything else gets resampled. Having said all that, I have several, and they sound completely fine to my ears. One is the audio hub of my bedroom system. sealrock
I was AirPlaying Hi-Res from iPhone to Apple TV last night and while I doubt it's full resolution, I'm almost certain it still sounded better/fuller than CD-quality. So something's going on there (I think). Link to comment

bubbamike
I believe the AppleTV is 24/48k. Everyting is resampled to that. Link to comment
