windows server 2016 for optimizer purchase advise?

“NEWBIE” to the Audio Optimizer here, with past experience building computers but not with server software but willing to learn.

I plan to go the two separate server route and a bit confused with so many options of 2016 server software and wanting to avoid trickery when purchasing.

 

What version of 2016 standard?    And with what options?

 

I see licenses and multiple core versions etc. with various prices with wide range.

 

I hope that someone out there can point me in the right direction with a link possibly to see what software product to purchase.
