yigitboylu
Hi all for the first time. I was playing from my digione to smsl m8 with no problem for a while. But nowadays getting problems with roon, on roopie, volumio or picore, with ifi ipower, linear ps or battery. Red light on raspberry becomes instable showing under voltage i guess. No problem with usb output. Roon or other operating systems show that it is playing the track but no sound output from spdif. No difference with changing the dac, power or coaxial cable. Can it be a static issue? PS: i mailed to Allo and waiting for reply for 3 days Link to comment
marce
No its could possibly be an under voltage problem, some devices will be more tolerant of under voltage than others... Bare minimum you'd need a multi-meter. Link to comment
davide256
check the DietPi forums for help , if under voltage is occurring you will see it in an alarm file. I suspect that you are doing something that maxes out CPU. Starting questions would be 1) are you using an RPI3? 2) are you using wired Ethernet connection vs more trouble prone wireless? yigitboylu
I realized that there is looseness somewhere on digione. Maybe on the coaxial output maybe somewhere else. AArgh.. Link to comment
