If I add a second router after modem do I need to log in or do anything for Micro Rendu to see second router?

It very much depends how you use the second router. If its used as the only router with the same SSID and password as the original router and with the original router in modem only mode, then no.

If used as an access point with different SSID and the original router still active, then yes

After the modem in addition to original router do I need any password or need to reload in anywhere with this second router. I bought it used because was told it would increase SQ

Be careful with terminology. If you replaced your existing router with another router, you are probably just fine. Unless you assigned a fixed IP address, which you would need to repeat with the new router. You could set your network admin and password the same on the new router.

 

If you added a new router after the existing router, you will be having conflicting IP addressing. You should only have one router after your modem. Converting the second router to being a switch or wireless access point only is possible.

 

If you added a "switch" after your router, you should be good to go.
