Swipe is very oldskool, I still have 2 tikitag reader kits, one signed by the dev team:

So just hold the card with the RFID in front of the reader, and you can trigger an action. You can stick the tag to virtually every object.
You could stick a tag to a record, hold the record in front of the reader, and trigger playback.

Would be a nice gimmick to stick it onto a record cover and then play the digital version
