The true litmus test is whether you can read the world "style" without an almost uncontrollable, impish urge to insert some sort of "doggie" comment. I have thus-far resisted the sirens of snark. But sometimes, it is almost like this stuff writes itself: 3 hours ago, The Computer Audiophile said: By the way, did you guys see the Beaglebone Ralf11, AudioDoctor and Jud 1 2 Link to comment

wgscott
Would it really make that much difference to you if he called it acme-tunes.com ? It has been Audiophilestyle for awhile; it isn't going to change just because some people don't immediately fall in love with the name. It would be expensive, disruptive, indecisive, and douchie to change the name yet again. Get over it. The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment

There are no rules when creating art. If you're looking for a vector perfect font with ruler straight uniformity, you'll have to look elsewhere and deduce what you will from someone who selects such logo that conforms to your stated norms. I like to be different. I like human imperfections. I love that someone created this for me with a paint brush. To me this adds character in a world of soulless perfection often found online. First ran into this label on the FreeBSD forums, where it was explained that there would be very little conversation over anything hugely important, like design of the innards of a nuclear plant, because very few people actually knew anything about it. But let it be something unimportant, like what color to paint the bikeshed where the plant workers parked their bikes, and prolonged discussion would ensue, because everyone had an opinion. Sounds like the ideal metaphor for 95% of the discussions taking place here. lucretius, mansr and Jud 2 1 Link to comment
