I changed to a external hdd in a orico encloser with lps and ghent 360 usb . Nice improvement over my usb stick into my raspberry pi nas . 

Just purchased a nuc .. if all goes well I'm trying AL this weekend .. cant wait to give it a go .

Last weekend I isolated 2 cores in AL . Glad I did . I also just finished putting the board inside the akasa case . I gave the front panel a cs bath to remove the black anno to match my other components.  Liking the look .. loving the sound !

What did the new update change / add ? Il try it on the weekend

@Bricki don't forget the scaling driver tweak .. I only did it a couple of weeks back . Luv it .

Tweak maybe the wrong word to use .. but changing from Intel_paste to acpi-cpufreq Definitely gave more seperation with the mids and highs on my system

@renan do you update the system as root in terminal using  pacman -Syyu ?

@hifi25nl is a 32gb USB stick still ok for use on version 2.0 ?

i cant get mpd installed . i tried in root pacman -S mpd also via the audiolinux menu .. but no luck . i got a few error messages .

I normally update via root pacman -Syyu 

then update menu .

or can I update via audiolinux menu ?

do I need to be on version 2.1 for this ? I'm only on version 2.0 atm .. thnx

you might need to change hardware or disabled to software in .mpdconf  to get volume control on your app .

 

audiilinux menu .. system menu .. file editor .. find the mpd.conf file . F4 to edit f2 to save F10 to exit .
