No, that's not right. the web interface shouldn't work.... I think you've got a bit of a mess. Did you use ramdisk reset before you changed modes? Just over a year ago I started down the path of building my own server. I am working a second iteration right now and thought it would be fun to go back in time. Today I setup the server I built: Today I am running a series of tests. First I installed the latest version of Gentoo Player on the Optane drive. I have started a series of ABC testing with Roon Bridge vs SQLite 2, and next with wide temp spec RAM and finally with the txUSBext card. So far the the new version of GP has been great. The install copy script moved me from USB to Optane with no issues. Roon Sever and Roon Bridge are running just fine. I added Sqlite 2 to the system and the A/B between Roon Bridge and SQLITE shows the sound quality improvement I had seen before. I will run the other tests after I get some work done. After I get the AB stuff done I will see if I have time to swap over to the AMD Ryzen 7 7300x and new motherboard. Note that I am using the default settings on Gentoo Player. Was trying to re-enable Spotifyd, which i notice is now called Spotify Connect under the Enable/Disable Software tab. Is there any other way to re-enable the web interface aside from having to reinstall 2.15? Link to comment
