altsouza
Hi @antonellocaroli, I instaled GP on a x86-64 machine, and everything is Ok. It is on the wired network (yes, I can connect using ip:5000) and Roon Server is running. This will be a Roon Server only machine. The problem is that Roon Core is not Showing up in Roon. Also I could not update for the latest Roon Server version: * Fetch failed for 'media-sound/RoonServer-1.7.555', Log file: * '/var/tmp/portage/media-sound/RoonServer-1.7.555/temp/build.log Any help is Welcome Thanks Antonio Link to comment

I have another roon server I use right now. A small idea behind the head .. or a search for a solution for this:https://www.homeaudiofidelity.com/english/plugins/ I can tell you, that using beuteFIR works really good! (Even on a raspberry Pi4) I stream music (from Tidal) via BubbleUPnP to the MPD then through BruteFIR to a i2s connected DAC. All on one little device. Maybe it was a little more work to install BruteFIR, but compared to Volumio, this is a big step Up! This GentoPlayer is one fine, stable working server/player. It is fast and stable, and sounds great. That’s what we want, no? Special thanks to AntonelloCaroli ! Link to comment
